Island / Jamaica

RFID key cards and wristbands for Jamaica’s all-inclusive resorts.

Jamaica's north coast runs on the all-inclusive model, which makes the wristband an entitlement document rather than a convenience. That single fact drives the closure, the tier structure and the reorder rhythm more than any technical specification does.

Operating reality

What Jamaica asks of an RFID credential.

Product and specification decisions follow how the island's properties actually run.

01

All-inclusive entitlement

A locking closure that cannot be transferred intact, because the band is the proof of what a guest has paid for.

02

Tier separation

Colourways plus a printed tier mark, so a bar supervisor can see entitlement at arm's length without scanning.

03

Day-pass visitors

A separate single-use band for non-resident guests buying a day pass, distinct on sight from the resident band.

04

Multi-property groups

Shared artwork and numbering conventions across sister properties, so stock and reporting stay comparable.

RFID products

Jamaica RFID key cards and wristbands, separated by purpose.

We manufacture the room card and the wearable entitlement as separate products, then hold their artwork, numbering and RFID requirements in one approved production record.

01

RFID key cards for Jamaican room and staff access

Our Jamaica RFID key cards use the standard CR80 format—85.6 × 54 mm and 0.76 mm thick—when that construction fits the installed encoder and reader. The card can carry room stock, staff identification or a controlled operational number without copying the visual language of the all-inclusive wristband. We confirm whether the required credential operates at 125 kHz LF or 13.56 MHz HF/NFC from a working reference, then approve the card body, finish, front, reverse and variable fields as one object. A key card is the wrong primary entitlement product when guests must present it repeatedly around pools, bars and beach areas.

02

RFID wristbands for all-inclusive entitlement in Jamaica

We manufacture Jamaica RFID wristbands around wear period, water exposure, transfer control and the guest groups the property must recognise. Silicone suits repeated wet use; a textile direction belongs only where its drying, closure and wear behaviour fit the actual programme. Colourways and printed tier marks are approved as operational information, not decoration, and the embedded RFID requirement is matched to the system before the body is released. Resident, day-pass and staff bands remain separate designs, each subject to the 500-piece minimum per design, so the property knows exactly which stock it is issuing and replacing.

Manufacturing record for Jamaica

Card construction
CR80, 85.6 × 54 mm, 0.76 mm when the installed system accepts that format
Wristband role
Resident entitlement, day access or staff use recorded as separate products
RFID evidence
125 kHz LF or 13.56 MHz HF/NFC confirmed from a working credential and property test
Visual control
Tier, user group, colourway, closure and numbering approved together
Design minimum
500 pieces per approved design

Compatibility and encoding remain conditional on the installed system and the approved working sample.

Detail

Why the Jamaica RFID specification changes.

Why the all-inclusive model changes the specification

Where a room card simply opens a door, a Jamaican all-inclusive band is authorising food, drink and facilities dozens of times a day at points staffed by people who are moving. That puts the emphasis on immediate visual legibility and on a closure that cannot be passed to somebody outside the resort. An adjustable band is the wrong product here regardless of how comfortable it is.

Resident, day-pass and staff credentials cannot look interchangeable

A Jamaican resort may issue room access, all-inclusive entitlement, day access and staff credentials from the same operating desk. We separate those populations through body colour, artwork, numbering and closure choice before production. The distinction must remain visible without depending on a reader display, while the RFID construction still follows the installed system. Reusing one visual design across all four groups is the wrong shortcut because it weakens issue control even when every credential reads correctly.

Receiving, honestly stated

We supply anywhere, and shipments to Jamaica clear through the island's normal import process like any other commercial consignment. What we ask for on the brief is who receives and signs at the property, because a resort with a central stores function and a resort where the front office receives directly behave very differently when a shipment lands during peak arrivals.

Technical depth

How we turn the Jamaica brief into a controlled product.

These are manufacturing controls, not assumed functions of a hotel system.

Build a reader-and-credential test matrix before a reopening run

A reopened or refurbished property may have readers from more than one installation phase. We ask for a known-working room card or wristband from each materially different access area, then record the required 125 kHz LF or 13.56 MHz HF/NFC credential against that sample. A visual match is not evidence of compatibility. The approval sample should be read, encoded where the property owns that process, read again at representative doors or amenity points, and retained as the reorder reference. That sequence separates a correct card body from a correct electronic credential.

Treat variable data as controlled production information

Room stock, staff cards and entitlement bands can carry serial numbers, barcodes or printed group identifiers when the operating brief requires them. The property defines the numbering range and whether it is visible, encoded or both; we reproduce the approved instruction and report the finished range. Artwork revision, body colour, closure, variable-data start and finish, packing order and carton labels belong in one release record. That is how a later 500-piece-per-design reorder can repeat the approved object instead of relying on an email description or a photograph.

Wrong fit

When the Jamaica product direction is wrong.

An adjustable, transferable band is wrong for a Jamaica all-inclusive programme where the wearable proves entitlement. A premium wood card is also wrong as the only product when the credential will be presented throughout a wet, active day. We recommend the format only after its daily role is defined.
