Product / Wristbands

A durable wearable format for water-led guest journeys.

Silicone wristbands suit active stays where the credential needs to remain with the guest. Band profile, closure, sizing, wear period and cleaning process belong in the product brief.

Specification

Four decisions before artwork.

The visible design is approved only after the functional brief is understood.

  1. 01

    Band profile and sizing

Record the exact proposed construction and supplied documentation.

  2. 02

    Reusable or stay-specific issue

Define the guest-facing finish without obscuring production limits.

  3. 03

    Colour, print or deboss detail

Confirm how the product will be issued, used and replaced.

  4. 04

    Water, sunscreen and cleaning exposure

Keep the agreed requirement in the production and reorder record.

Indicative production parameters

Credential frequency
13.56 MHz (ISO/IEC 14443) or 125 kHz (LF), confirmed against the installed system
Minimum order
500 pieces
Production
14–21 days after artwork approval

These are planning figures for a standard run. The exact construction, credential and schedule are confirmed for the property and installed system before quotation.

How the product is specified and released.

Physical construction, artwork and credential decisions stay connected throughout production.

Choose the physical band profile

Silicone wristbands can be moulded as adjustable, fixed-size or other approved reusable profiles. The brief records inside circumference, width, thickness profile, fastening method and the position of the RFID area. A band that appears simple in a rendering can fit poorly when hole spacing, tail length or face position is not tested across the guest population.

Comfort is assessed at the intended tension and through the expected wear period. We review edge feel, pressure around the RFID face, snag points and how naturally the guest presents the band to a reader. Adult and child sizing may need separate constructions rather than one compromise band that is loose on some guests and tight on others.

Test active-stay exposure

Pool water, sea water, showers, heat, sunscreen, cleaning products and repeated flexing belong in the sample trial. We inspect closure retention, print or filled-detail wear, colour appearance and the stability of the sealed RFID assembly. A short dry read at a desk does not represent a multi-day resort journey.

Reusable describes an operating model as well as a durable body. The property needs a collection, inspection, cleaning and reissue process with a rejection rule for damaged bands. Without that process, a reusable construction may still be issued once. The product claim should follow how the band will actually be handled.

Control colour and decoration

Body colour, printed detail, debossing, filled marks and variable numbering provide different levels of permanence and detail. We select the method around the design, wear period and guest-group role. Fine marks and low-contrast combinations are reviewed at physical size, especially where staff must identify a tier quickly in bright outdoor conditions.

Colour can support package or age groups, but visual coding does not create access permissions. Each variant is mapped to its intended issue rule and packing label. Where multiple designs are required, the MOQ of 500 units applies per design, making early control of the colour and artwork matrix important.

Confirm every electronic function

The installed environment determines 125 kHz LF or 13.56 MHz HF/NFC and any supported encoding requirement. We test the completed curved and sealed wearable, because the wrist presentation differs from a flat reference card. Antenna position and user movement can affect the practical reading gesture even when the credential itself is correct.

Room access, locker entry and folio-linked services are separate system functions. A silicone carrier does not enable them by itself. The brief assigns an accountable system owner to each promised function, then the production record captures only the credential and data that those systems have confirmed.

Compatibility boundary

The product body does not determine the credential.

Frequency, memory, encoding and system rules are confirmed separately. If compatibility cannot be established, the order should not proceed as an access credential.

Wrong fit

When silicone wristbands are the wrong direction.

Silicone wristbands are the wrong direction when the property has no collection and cleaning process but is purchasing them chiefly for reuse, when the available sizes cannot fit guests safely, or when a transferable closure conflicts with personal entitlement. They are also wrong if the installed readers cannot support a natural wrist presentation. A carried card or a different wearable profile may fit better.

Build the brief

Confirm the product and credential together.

Share the property, destination, product direction and any system information already available. The secure form sends the brief directly to our manufacturing team, with the product, quantity and system notes kept together for review.
